Khalid Aziz Ghazy, M.D. DABFM is board certified in Family Medicine and has earned credentials as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. He received his bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences M.B.Ch.B. from the University of Basrah, College of Medicine. He then completed a Family Medicine residency at the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine, Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas. Furthermore, Dr. Ghazy received certification in ATLS (Advanced Life Support) and

completed the Fundamental Critical Care Support Provider Course, Society of Critical Care Medicine. Today, Dr. Ghazy continues his medical training as a student in the Professional Master of Public Health Degree Program, UC Berkeley School of Public Health.

Dr. Ghazy is also a published author, having penned studies looking into wide-spread chronic illnesses. His most recent published studies include the ‘Evaluation and Management of Patient with difficult to control or resistant Hypertension’ while ‘Pattern of Management of Hepatitis C in a Family Residency Clinic’ was published by the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG).

Dr. Ghazy is currently a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Medicine, and the Texas Medical Association.
